#Western digital wd10eads new mac os#
I have three WD10EADS Caviar Green hard drives, 2 running windows 7 and one with Mac OS 10.5 which is also mac branded. The majority of posts say the new Green drive (WD10EADS) is an attempt to jack up the price via the 32MB buffer and the reduction to 3 platters (from 4 on WD10EACS). I have been reading the posts about the Caviar Green hard drives and am not happy with what I have read.

Im looking at the 1TB drive with the main purpose for storage and backup. All Western Digital HDDs sold by Disk Driver Finder are 100% original Western Digital branded drives with the necessary firmware to ensure recognition by your system. Ive read all day about the WD Green and Black HDs and gone back and forth.
